Who are we?
We are a small business that sources and provides spare parts for vintage Ferrari cars. From early 60's Ferraris like the 250 GTE up to cars of the 80's in form of the 400GT we can provide or help with those parts you are looking for. You will find a small collection of the spare parts and services we provide in the parts & services area in the menu at the top of the page but as we have been restoring cars for 35 years we are able to source needed parts through our worldwide professional Ferrari related network. Our customers
are international people seeking advice on and looking for rare Ferrari parts, either new (NOS) or used original or new to exact specification of the original part. They want to have their cars right down to little details like the right fasteners like Lobo bolts or hose clamps from Cheney or Copiglia, right surface finishes, the right decals at the right places and the right materials for hoses, carpets, headliners and others. They take extreme efforts to not only restore their cars but to get them right, meaning like they left Maranello in their time. Who am I?
I am a professional engineer with a huge background in the automotive industry at a renowned German Luxury OEM and the biggest independent engine- and powertrain development company worldwide, working beside my professional career for over 35 years on vintage cars, including vintage Ferraris. Due to my own need for those elusive parts I developed a global network for sourcing those rare and hard to find parts over the years. As I do restore myself quality and exact specification in regard to the originality are of utmost importance to me. This includes the design, functionality but also the right surface coatings of parts, e.g. original cadmium, nickel or phosphate plating as per the original part. To get an impression of my work please take a look at my own car.
My own cars
are finished with love for detail. This includes years of investigation into the exact specification of all components, be it mechanically or finishes. To build up this knowledge I have obtained a huge data base of pictures and gathered information and have looked and investigated a lot of cars worldwide. My main knowledge is on the Ferrari 250 GTE and Ferrari 400GT but a lot of this is transferable to other Ferrari cars of the area. In addition I like to do my homework investigating new types and love challenges. See my own car for more info.
My Motivation
I love all things vintage Ferrari and want to get things right. The cars should be restored with all parts looking right or alternatively, if we are talking Ferrari survivors, parts should be substituted fitting into the complete picture of how a car aged up to this point. Not restoring a part from an optical standpoint and just mechanically overhauling it can thus be the preferred alternative to restoring it.
